About me

Tanja Deisler
Business Consultant Turned Entrepreneur
I never thought I would end up in consulting. Growing up in half a dozen countries across Europe, I had a passion for business, fashion, and design but believed consulting was full of people who took themselves too seriously. After earning degrees in Logistics and Business Management in Bremen and Shanghai, I applied to countless jobs before finally landing an internship with one of the world’s largest consulting firms. To my surprise, I loved it. The fast-paced, high-pressure environment pushed me out of my comfort zone, challenged me to grow, and surrounded me with brilliant minds. By the end of my internship, I knew I wanted to stay.
Consulting became my launchpad. I worked for global companies like Accenture, Amazon, and Salesforce, refining my skills and learning how to navigate complex challenges. The experience was exhilarating, but it wasn’t always easy. Determined to grow, I embraced both successes and failures, learning invaluable lessons along the way. As I progressed in my career, I started documenting my experiences in a blog—sharing the realities of consulting with an unfiltered, fun, and honest perspective. Over time, I realized my insights could help others. That’s when I decided to write #girlconsultant: A Woman’s Playbook to Jumpstart a Career in Business Consulting—a no-BS guide to helping women break into and thrive in consulting. The book, set to be published in 2025, reflects my belief that consulting is an unparalleled training ground for both soft and hard skills, shaping future leaders and entrepreneurs alike.
My journey didn’t stop there. With an entrepreneurial spirit, I launched my first startup in 2015, merging my business acumen with my creative passions. By 2024, I was hungry for a new challenge, which led me to co-found red. House of Collagen with Dina Holzapfel. Drawing on my project management expertise, I spearheaded the renovation and launch of red.’s first studio in Zurich’s Seefeld district. In just one month, we transformed the space into a sleek, cutting-edge wellness hub, officially opening our doors in December 2024.
Today, my focus is on empowering others—whether through my book, red., or my service offerings. I am available for speaking engagements and as a business mentor. If you’re interested in working together, fill out the contact form, and I will get back to you. Let’s make things happen!
